New Features:

• Added a new feature to allow citizens to trash items in their inventory. To dispose of unwanted items, simply go to Citizen Overview -> Inventory, drag items into the trashcan and follow the prompts. As stated in the popup, trashed items are destroyed permanently, and cannot be recovered in any circumstance, so this feature should be used with care.
• Presidents, Vice Presidents and Minister of Communication's all have a "delete" button under each message on national chat, to be used to delete messages that break rules. Abuse of this feature can be reported to a Global Moderator for dispute solving. -Darkmantle
• New "Communications" tab that allows CP, VP and MoC to ban citizens from using their national chat. They may only ban up for up to 7 days. All bans expire at day change. So banning for 1 day will unban them at the next day change. You can open a ticket if you have any chat ban disputes, and a Global Mod or Dev will look into it. -Darkmantle
• Global Mods and Devs have the ability to ban people for an unlimited amount of time, for cases that require it. Refer to one of the team if you think someone deserves this length of ban. -Darkmantle

Updates:

• Reduced the effectiveness of the enemy soldier bot.
• Reduced the preparation phase of each round to the first 15 minutes, allowing 45 minutes of fighting.
• Added a section for the Alien Invasion to the War Room, allowing all citizens to view battles against the Alien Invaders.
• Updated the War Room and Battle Viewer to display details about the progress of rounds.
• Removed the requirement for 15 rounds to have been completed before a battle can be won.
• All attacks now have a 24 hour notification window before the battle commences. This allows defending nations time to mobilise their armies, without forcing long battles to mitigate timezone issues.
• Reversed the sort order on the Global Wars list, so that more recent wars appear at the top of the list.

Bugs

• You can't ban people from other countries from posting in your national chat yet. Mods can only ban people from using their own national chat, not from others. -Darkmantle
• Bug where some people cannot delete the last message sent. Just type a new message above it then you can delete it. No patter to discern the issue yet, please report any cases to Darkmantle.
• Citizen Trade has been disabled due to some bugs that are making trade impossible, we are aware of these issues and are working to resolve them ASAP.

Bug Fixes:

• Fixed an exploitable bug preventing ammo depletion when using higher tier weapons.
• Fixed a bug preventing deployment from the Active Battles tab in most cases.
• Fixed an exploit with company movement.
• Fixed a bug causing the New Private Message notification to sometimes not be displayed.
• Fixed a bug preventing some export licences from displaying correctly.

Important Notices:

• Due to technical difficulties, Coffee/Rice industries and the Fishing mini-game have been delayed till tomorrow's update.
• We are still working on improving the usefulness of Jets and Tanks, and in addressing the other concerns people have raised about the War Module. Please continue to provide us with useful feedback so we can improve the War Module.

so the requirement to win a battle is to win 5 more rounds than your enemy? so in effect reducing the minimum required time to win a battle to 5h? damn those time zones - we are f*cked!

Hopefully, it'll alleviate timezone issues without forcing all battles to be extremely long.
