Upgrade Notes -August 28th

New Features:

  • Added a new stats tab when logged in, which currently displays the top 5 active nations today (based on logins within 24 hours), top 5 populated nations, and top 5 citizens by XP and Networth.
  • Added a new in-game PM system, accessible via other citizen's profiles. The system is rather basic at the moment, however will be upgraded in the future.

Updates:

  • Removed the cyclic status bars, moving the status bars to above the right tabs, due to community feedback
  • Moved the search bar into the header, replacing the cyclic status bars.
  • Updated the style and content of the new user tutorial. Further improvements are planned in the next few days.
  • Boot Camp has been removed from the Military Module, allowing new players to get involved in this module quicker.
  • If you try and consume an item you do not have, you will now be redirected to the marketplace.
  • Updated the alert displayed after consuming food/beverages or reading a book, to display the number of food/beverages/book uses remaining today.
  • T1 ammunition can now be used in T2 & T3 weapons. T2 weapons will consume 2 rounds per shot, and T3 weapons will consume 3. This is a temporary measure that will remain in effect until October 1st.
  • The cost of launching attacks (including uprisings) has been reduced by 10 VBX. This is a temporary measure that will remain in effect until the War Module is deemed stable and final.
  • Removed War Immunity from protection mode, allowing new nations to be involved in play-testing the War Module during Beta. This is a temporary measure that will remain in effect until the War Module is deemed stable and final. At this stage, all nations will receive their original regions back.

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed a bug causing regional population to jump to over 4 million in some circumstances.
  • Fixed a bug preventing T2 books from being correctly consumed when studying at the University.
  • Selling an active company should no longer prevent a company manager from accessing their other companies.

Important Notices:

  • Launching attacks (including uprisings) have been temporarily disabled pending updates and the launch of the Alien Invasion community event.

Global sports stats and country ranged citizen stats will be more useful I suppose. But too minor thing, it is ok, nice updates! ;)

Global sports stats and country ranged citizen stats will be more useful I suppose. But too minor thing, it is ok, nice updates! ;)

There are a lot of other metrics that would be useful for top X citizens/nations, but we obviously cant have them all in the sidebar ;) Expect an update to the Rankings page in the near future though.

What this is mean? All nations will receive their regions as they have now or as was on the start of the game (or at the time nation was added to the game)?

About the ammo update, when you say "consume 2-3 bullets" you are talking about the inferior Tier of ammo or even the ammo of the same Tier consume more???

Yep, if the weapon uses T1 ammo, it consumes more.

What this is mean? All nations will receive their regions as they have now or as was on the start of the game (or at the time nation was added to the game)?

hm, so, it sounds very very unfair =(. Why to take away only regions, not items, levels, skills, companies, etc?

So that means even mutual mergers of some nations will be obsolete and the big nation will be divided into their original nations?

It may seem best for some individuals or groups of players (predominantly losers), however at the end of the day, we have to do what is unfair for the game as a whole.

How can players do something in this game if they will know that at any day admin can take off all that they are reached? Nice approach.
