Asteroid On Collision Course with vEarth
« on: August 12, 2011, 16:08:08 »
Scientists around the vworld have discovered a large disc-shaped asteroid on a collision course with vEarth. The asteroid is travelling quickly, and is expected to collide with the vEarth sometime on Day 633. Scientists are continuing to track the asteroid, but are currently unable to determine exactly where it will hit. Scientists are also unable to estimate the effect the asteroid will have on the region it lands in, or the surrounding area. Citizens are advised to remain cautious and ensure they have enough food and beer should the asteroid strike near their homes.

Scientists are encouraging hobby astronomers and interested parties to offer their predictions on where the asteroid may hit. Data will be correlated to hopefully identify the region the asteroid will hit before it happens.

More details as they become available.

Using programs designed by the CSI guys (who can code anything in a couple seconds) I estimate it will fall in Bolivia

Good thing I'm not there right now, taking a short vacation, lol. So, is where this place lands the first to reset? Then it spreads out from there? Is that how it works? Germany is quite central in that respect so I encourage that, lol.

Obviously in Soviet Russia. We have enough space to place few cute asteroids + we use a giant magnet.

Scientist from the AIDE agency have been trying to determine where the meteor will impact.

They assure me it will be far from my home in Patagonia, they say the entry pattern the Meteor is taking is showing that it will hit in the North Hemisphere, but nobody can tell for sure where it will hit at this stage.
